Radial Layer Shifts randomly in Z, two different i3MK3 printers, Prusa Slicer
Here is a new problem I have encountered. The only change is we are slicing now on a new MAC running Sonoma instead of a PC. Every print so far has some random layers that are slightly larger than the others. It even does this on the inside of the part as you can see, barely, in the image. The layer is like 0.5mm larger, inside and on the outside. On one print, after about 5mm, all layers are about that much larger. It looks fine in the slicer when looking at the layers. Running Prusa Slicer 2.7.1 MAC OS

I doubt this is caused by the slicer…
To narrow that down: do you still have an old gcode file which printed without error before? If so, try printing it again. Does it also have these errors now? If so, it‘s your printer not your new computer/slicer combo.

Here is the next print but this time sliced with Prusa slicer on my PC. Same Fusion file, same slicer, same settings, same printer, same filament. The upper layer issues are gone, but the lower one remains, which must be some shrinkage because it aligns with the floor of the container. So, could it be an issue with slicing on the new MAC running Sonoma?
Also, is there any way to correct the problem about 4mm up from the bottom? The difference in diameter of the part is 0.4mm difference from the smaller bottom Ø to the upper Ø.

It appears my problem has been solved. When switching computers I transferred all of my presets, filament settings and print settings. I then used the defaults and re-created some of the presets and when using these new ones, the prints are now fine. The print does have that step at the bottom where the bottom of the container matches up with the sides. If someone knows what this is called, let me know so I can figure it out and reduce it or possible eliminate it. Thanks and I hope this helps someone else out.
