Prusa wont start up
hi all,
I am a compleet newbie on 3d printing, this is my first printer, now I have assembled the printer mechanically.
when I put the power on, I get the option for language choice, pressed x, the a fan starts after a few seconds I hear a click and then the language option pops back.
( when I put the sd card in I can scroll thru the items on the card, so the display should be ok, the led display stays on, red led on the pinda is on
when I head the click the led on the einsy stops)
where can I find an solution or can someone help me where to look?
2nd question, on the power supply the red I/O switch shouldnt there be a led when you switch it on?
thanks
leon
RE: Prusa wont start up
Hi,
Hehe, the "X" on the screen is the emergency reset button, to validate a choice you have to push the rotary button.
MK3s Stock, PS2.3, Fusion360, Debian, Windows 10.

Yip, that it is.
Was that a WTF moment by any chance.....change of underwear possibly on the cards?
My new printer.....NOOOOOOOOOO

@leroni
Its a bit of a steep learning curve the old 3d printing, but very enjoyable.
Stick with it, and don't be afraid to ask, we have all been in the same boat.
There are many ups and downs ahead 😉

RE: Prusa wont start up
well, I assembled it ok, everything went first time right.
first layer I have to tweak a bit, turned it to -.79 but it needs to be a bit more but that will be for an other day.
thanks for the help

@leroni
No problem, any time.
My expertise is very limited compared to most on this forum, lots of knowledge here.
Use these to set up your first layer/live z, very helpful article/forum post
