Problem lenght x axis

Hello i have a problem with my mk3.

i have follow all the instructions but during the self test i have the famous problem with the length of x axis.

i have check i have found no problem but i have try to move the extruder on x axis and i can only move on 203mm (i touch in right and left side) and the minimum is 250 mm.

RE: Problem lenght x axis

Check that the extruder bode contacts the left X-Axis support.  You should have a plastic to plastic contact when homing.  Often, cable ties and cable wrap interfere by hitting the frame or EINSY case on the left, and the frame or power supply on the right.

Also, check that the belt drive gear is not slipping.  Set screws need to be tightened flat first. Loosen both set screws until the gear can rotate freely around the shaft. Align and tighten one set screw on the shaft, carefully ensuring it set in the middle of the shaft, fully contacting the flat. Tighten to spec.  Then, tighten the jam set screw.   When adjusting the gear, always loosen the jam screw first, then the flat screw.  Never tighten the flat screw unless the jam screw is loose.

Adding a screen to the cooling fan, wrong screws, or thicker fan also cause problems.
