Printing GCODE sliced for MK3 on MK3S

I have finally got around to doing my MK3S upgrade which I bought on day 1...

It was pretty smooth and now I am up and running again... But there was one thing I overlooked, all my GCODE files are sliced for the Mk3 and now throw an error.

It doesn't matter in most cases as I generally re-slice everything I print.. But I have around 50 GCODE files of things I print regularly which took me a while to get right (different layer heights through the print and filament changes) and it would be a nightmare to re-slice them

I did a test print of one of the MK3 files and its printing fine, so is there a problem doing that?

Or is there a reason why I should re-slice them for the MK3S?

RE: Printing GCODE sliced for MK3 on MK3S

I have printed one of the file and other than the warning at the start, it prints fine.. I then re-sliced it and compared the print... And there is no difference.

So as a test, I took a cube and sliced with with the MK3 and MK3S profile and then compared the GCODE.. And the ONLY difference is the M862.3 P "Printer Model Check" at the start.

So my conclusion is that the GCODE is no different when you slice on a MK3 or MK3S (which I what I would expect).. So I think I will just keep the file and will change the M862.3 line just so I don't get the annoying warning every time I print.
