Printer starts printing bad after 1 month

I've got my Prusa i3 MK3S+ since half September and has been printing perfectly straight out of the box (I ordered preassembled, not the kit)

I have print hundreds of cases and all with the same good quality.

Yet the last two batches where showing bad overhangs, which only got more bad...

Same filament, same gcode (so no changes in settings), same printer (no changes)...

Those who I've asked all suspect mostly overheating/no-cooling. Both fans are working, and are on while printing.

Anyone who can advise me?

Best Answer by iMars:

I changed the nozzle and it was fixed!

I didn’t thought about the nozzle, as the printer was about 1~1,5 month old and a nozzle shouldn’t wear out that fast.

New nozzle and voila! It prints perfect again.

Fun fact: it was the last option Prusa Support gave. If that didn’t worked, the printer would have gone back to the factory.

Is your filament wet?

If it was just sitting with no heating for a spell, and then it behaves different when you turn it back on - and if you left your spools just sitting out in the room air - then it is very likely your filament has done it's job and sucked up moisture from the air.

I think @dan-rogers is right.  Try drying your filament.

Cheerio,

Hmm I have been using the same file for months with no issues then all of a sudden I have the issue you had so I disassembled the hotend put it back together and it worked for one print now I’m back to the same issue but I used the same roll of filament for all prints so I’m at a loss

The symptoms I had looked like too much heat; So either too much heat in the extruder, or too little cooling... yet in my case it was the nozzle
