Please help, can't make it to work
HI,
I have a new Prusa I3 MK3S and I am having issues with the wizard.
It runs perfect until it finish the Z calibration, then when is time for the first layer calibration, it start checking the 9 points and fails on the second point every time with the error "Some problem encountered, z-leveling enforced".
I don't know what to do or how to fix it.
please, can someone help me or point me in the the direction of where to check?
Thanks in advance.
RE: Please help, can't make it to work
I have no idea what is causing this issue, but Z axis is the vertical axis, you are sensing the heatbed/buildplate at the time the error occurs... this suggests that the Printer is sensing an unexpected response from the Pinda Probe, (either triggering too early or too late)
do you have the removable build plate in position on the heat bed?
is it possible that you have a washer or some other foreign object beneath the build plate, causing an unexpected lump in the build plate?
have you re confirmed that your X axis is level, by driving the X axis up to the top of the frame, resetting the printer (Press the X Button below the LCD Knob, and driving the X axis up to the top until both Z motors stall?)
Have you tried invoking 7x7 mesh bed levelling via the LCD Configuration menu? and running the test again?
do you know that the Prusa first layer calibration routine is a bit difficult to calibrate successfully?
I prefer to use Jeff Jordan's 'Life Adjust Z, My Way' (Link below)
there are sample files for PLA, PETG And ABS, at the bottom of the first post!
regards Joan

Thanks for the answer.
It turned out that the Y-Carriage was slightly bent and that was causing the 9 points errors.
