one Z-axis doesn't move up
Hi there,
I just assembled the printer and started the initial test. All went fine until the xyz calibration failed. When z moves up, only the left stepper moves up. I changed the Z cables and then only the right stepper moves up. I manualy moved the z-axis to the top. During the calibration both axis moved down. But when moving up again only one axis moves. In the end I get the message, calibration failes, check axis and run again.
Is the Einsy Board defective?

Probably a bad pin on the controller board. Inspect the pins on the two on-board Z connectors. If one is missing a pin or has a bent pin then contact support.

I had this problem (calibrating Z caused one side to rise while the other did not) because I had cables from the Z axis motors plugged in to the what I thought was logical connectors on the einsy board but which weren't correct. Doublecheck that you're in the right places on that board.
