Offset in the print image!

Hi,
I finished my first print and I am quite satisfied except for one detail. I always have an offset in the printed image for round objects. What have I done so far:

- Printer placed on a solid surface
- Belt tension tested.
- The print profile of https://prusaslicerprofiles.com/download/pretty-pla-v4-0/
downloaded.

Does anyone have any idea why this may be?

Many thanks and greetings
Sascha

RE: Offset in the print image!

This is the start finish seam.

The slicer tries to put this in corners. But there are not many corners  in a circle.

You can choose random placement to reduce the visibility. The standard setting is nearest. If there is a back that will not be seen you can put the seam there.

Printing slower reduces the seam visibility.

Metalic and silk filaments tend to hilight the seam.

I try to make safe suggestions,You should understand the context and ensure you are happy that they are safe before attempting to apply my suggestions, what you do, is YOUR responsibility. Location Halifax UK

You can manage the seam location, but not eliminate it unless you print in Vase mode.

Options are rear, nearest, aligned, etc.  You can also make adjustments to many printer settings that affect seam quality, but that discussion is quite in depth and requires calibration of k-factor, z-hop, retraction, fine tuning of extrusion temperatures and rates, belt tension must be precise, and you will need some luck.

Most of us just live with the seam or hide it the best we can and move on.
