New user trying to set up
I run self test and get filament sensor wire error, check connections all good yet it fails every try. and ideas what to check other than wire connections?

The wire itself? It's possible there's a kink/break somewhere inside the insulation. Look for a bend or other deformation. Some kind of circuit tester may help determine if it's the wire or something else.

My filament sensor would never be recognized until I left the printer powered ON and then pulled the connector and reinserted it.
