New kit printer build: first startup... reboots
I just completed the build of my Prusa I3 mk3s+. Enjoyable process. This is my third printer and my previous printer was a variant I built from scratch along the I3 basic pattern. So: Not my first rodeo.
First test, plugged the printer in and it greeted me with language selection a few times over, then finally got to the "Original Prusa i3 Prusa Research" spash screen and then the setup wizard welcome message and "...Would you like me to guide you through the setup process" Yes/No
Either choice briefly powers up the hotend fan then off and returns to the "Original Prusa" splash screen ad infinitum. I did a quick scan of the electronics box. That was the diciest part of the build with not great photo illustrations but I'm 98% that I got all the connectors set correction and seated. Does this ring a bell? What errors might cause this reboot issue? The PSU is supposed to be auto switch to 120 per the docs right?
Thanks for tips for a new Prusa owner.
RE: New kit printer build: first startup... reboots
Since this is a new build I would point you to the Prusa home page while logged in and click the 24/7 support icon.
Hopefully someone will come on and live chat with you quickly to help diagnose the issue.
Of course, check all your wiring and connections. The electronics box is a bit tight but it’s manageable with patience. Double check your ribbon cable connections at both ends as well.
Good luck.

Welcome on board,
How do you validate the Yes/No choice? Do not push the cancel button under the knob 😉

To be even more specific: Push the dial in to confirm selection. The button below the dial is the reset button - it resets the printer, which results in exactly the behavior you are describing (short power up of fan and splash screen).
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
