need help please !
finally built this dang i3 MK3S+ (my fingers are so sore)
calibration on the xyz was fine and then i printed the Prusa sample pattern and my results is as shown below.
The PLA covered the hot head so i quickly turned the printer off and am now wondering how to proceed.
First time 3d printing, hopefully someone can provide some potential solutions on what to do next.
thanks!

Hi Tyler,
I don't know how you added the image... but it ended up with formatting information before and after the image
I deleted this
and a little information from after the image and as you can see above the image is now visible.
and then the image displays now.
It looks to me like you have adhesion issues, these generally relate to Bed Cleanliness and 'Live Z' adjustment.
you have a Mk3, so the first thing I would do, is enable 7x7 mesh bed levelling, (It's an LCDMenu option, turn magnet compensation at the same time)
this causes the printer to test 49 points on the build plate instead of the default nine points. and magnet compensation ignores 7 of these points, leaving 42 test points. I find this gives me better results.
then I would use an old first layer configuration file, in preference to the Prusa First layer configuration file.
'Life Adjust Z My Way' by Jeff Jordan
there are test files for use with a 0.4mm nozzle, at the bottom of the firstpost on the first page.
and I would wash the build plate surface in the sink, with hot water, and a little dish soap,(rubbing the surface really well with a new dish sponge) rinse really well with HOT water, and dry immediately with plain paper towels.
and I use 70C on the build plate for PLA.

RE: need help please !
My suggestion is to follow Joan's advice. It certainly got me headed in the right direction (see Trouble with taller builds). It took me a while to catch on to getting Live Z properly adjusted, but it solved all my problems
RE: need help please !
Thank you so much!
I helped solve some of the issue adjusting the nozzle head closer to the bed and a good clean helped!
I'm making the whistle now and all is going well.
Thank you so much for your advice I will keep this handy!
Have a nice day!
