My 2nd Mk3 has got to be defective. Nothing but problems.
I got my 1st MK3 kit over a year ago and love it. To this day it works perfectly almost every time. Ive only replaced the front fan because the wire wore out but Prusa kindly sent me a new one right away. Again, aside from that its been printing almost every day for up to 14 hours a day making parts I sell.
HOWEVER...
The 2nd MK3 kit I got a year later has been a nightmare. It constantly crashes and spends about the same amount of time broken as it does actually working. On that one I've replaced the front fan twice, 2 hotend rebuilds (that's fun), 2 heatbed rebuilds, It has to be recalibrated all the time, It just stops printing for no real reason without an error. (Just stops) I had problems with the bowden tube pushing up because the little lock for the tube wasn't holding so I had to put a C clip under it to hold it in place. I also replaced the tube-like 3 times in a year. I've changed the nozzle on it several times. It has a seriously runny nose with print blobs every 10 minutes it seems. I just don't get it. One printer works and works and works and the other is a lazy teen that just refuses to get off the couch. What's the deal???
Now that I've got that out. I'm fighting constant PETG blobs. Again the same exact setting on the 1st machine work perfectly but the newer one is just a constant battle. I tried tweaking retraction a little and tried a new nozzle again but it's still the same. Can anyone enlighten me as to what I may be doing wrong or is this just a cursed printer?

The one is properly assembled and the other is not.
I had a similar experience with my MK2. I followed many upgrade paths, so I've rebuild it many times. There are so many small things which can be wrong and can be done wrong. This leads to issues after hours of operation (like broken cable). That happens also on PR assembled printers like you can see many times with the Mini.
Try to understand the issues and make it better next time. Like paying attention to cable path and verifying it's sitting correct even during operation. And check the whole extruder assembly.

I wish it was that simple. I built them both and followed the instructions to a T and still, the one just has problem after problem. I even once took it completely apart just in case maybe I got the frame out of square or I missed something but no.
I'm telling you the new one is cursed. Maybe a little old Czech witchdoctor lady got ticked at Prusa for some dumb reason and took it out on my printer. Frustrating to say the least.
