MMU2 Problems with Filament Loading and Unloading during Print

Hi,

I have recently upgraded a Prusa MK3 with an MMU2 unit however I am running into issues during printing.

The MMU2 has been loaded and calibrated correctly and is able to successfully switch, load and unload the different filaments with no issues occurring at the start of the build. However, during the printing process I have noticed that the filament will get stuck in the PTFE tube between the MMU2 and the extruder. The current set up has the printer on a desk with the 5 spools positioned approximately 50cm above on a shelf. I suspect that it is either the filament getting caught on the spool holder during the extrusion process or that the tip of the heated filament expands causing it get caught within the PTFE tube.

Would here be anything else that that may cause this issue and if so how should I address it?

Thanks for your help!

How cold/hot you have in place you have printer. Try to increase temperature of fillaments. That cause fillament will be able to "adapt" to teflon tube. If he stays adapted to heatbrake or nozzle, it can stuck.

University: MK2S upgraded to MK3 with MMU2.0

Materials: ABS; ASA; PETG; PET; PLA; Nylon; Nylon Carbon; CPE;
SW: Freecad 0.18; Slicer PE And still generating more troubles than whole forum together.
