Missing Layer or Crack in the Middle
Hello prusa community!
It is nice you meet you all! I got my prusa last week and am since in love with it 🙂
After some test prints I printed the enclosure parts V2 for the IKEA LACK, unfortunately with a failure, which could have at least two reasons in my opinion, after some google reseach.
1. Heat problems in the middle due to missing bed heating in this hights.
2. Or a bad calibration of the belts.
In the middle of all Objects is a crack or a missing outer layer. See the pictures.
Can you give me some advice, what could be the reason for this?
I printed over night, and the room temperature sank down to 15°C, start was 20°C in the evening.
Thank you much in advance and best regards!

Welcome!
what material were you using? I had the same issue only with ABS+cold environment.

@antonio-da-catania thanks for your reply!
I use PLA from material4print. First impression is good quality.
Settings used from PrusaSlicer with 210°C/60°C for PLA...
RE: Missing Layer or Crack in the Middle
strange behaviour to be PLA!
the missing line in this case could be an extrusion issue/missing layer rather than a layer separation. check the idler screw (the one with the spring on the extruder): it need to be tensioned just right, not too loose and not too tight
also I can see some detachment from the bed.
Since the footprint of some part seems to be really thin, try to add like 5mm brim. this way the part will have more grab on the bed
