Mis-rendered gcode. Brand new printers.
I have two new Mk3s that gave totally different results with the same gcode file printed from SD. Swapping the SD cards and repeating the prints resulted in the same error on the same machine--i.e. it is not an error with code or with card, but with machine. Strangest thing I've ever seen.

Strange indeed. My guess is bad RAM on the EINSY board. But it strikes me as even weirder that the corrupted locations just happen to connect to prior print locations and not some random spot out in space, and only one axis is affected? Seems the cpu writes the ram, but has an issue reading it?
In any case, a broken printer and I'd ask support for a new EINSY.
ps: Or ask support to explain the malady and how they plan on fixing it.

Thanks for your input. The issue appears to have been resolved with a firmware update.

That's really great news; but if a firmware defect, why aren't others having the issue? I wonder if the issue didn't just "move" to another area; it's pretty hard to say how firmware would cause such an odd and sort-of random displacement of only a few points, on only one axis.
