Long tail and zigzag

As you can see, the first layer calibration output has zigzag on the left side and it makes a long tail. It doesn't cut the end clearly and makes tails. What should I do?

I'm using MK3S and the material is PLA. (PET made same results.)

You got the curlies

Curlies, make z closer to the bed.  Wavy like water?  Raise it back up.

thank you

Thanks for the advice. Do you have any good ideas on making a thin tail at the end?

a long tail

The tail means this inside the red boundary. How can I prevent this?

That's just filament oozing at the end of the print.  On a normal print retraction eliminates 'most' of that but I don't think the built in calibration uses retract so there no way to stop it on the calibration print.

After all the process is just looking to get your first layer live z dialled in.  Its not designed to test for filament retraction settings.
