Layer shift??
For objects such as trays, vases or pots, in the transition from the bottom to the wall, this always happens. I have no layer shift in the rest of the piece.Does anyone know why?
RE: Layer shift??
Does that perchance line up with the top solid infill inside the pot? If so that's a known issue that a number of other threads here have been investigating. I don't think anyone's pinned down the exact cause yet though, but I've heard reports that other slicers do not cause it.
RE: Layer shift??
Yes, that's it. In fact I have only used Slic3r, I will try to see if with others it happens.

I seem to recall someone reporting that setting a negative percentage for the infill overlap (-15%, I think?) fixed it for them. But it does also seem to be highly dependent on part geometry.

I'm convinced that geometry matters. There are situations where it is less visible. Anyway thanks, it is already a help to see if I solve.
