Is it supposed to be this loud and how can I improve my layers?
I completed my kit build last night and after setting the first layer and a couple test prints, I dove right into a bigger print. Two things I noticed...
1. The printer is far louder than I thought it would be. Is this normal or do I have something too tight / not tight enough?
2. It looks like there is something wrong with some of the layers on the print. Im printing at .2 quality with supports on build plate..

They are quite loud, and it can depend on the room or enclosure it's in, the surface it sits on, the mode it's in and how accurately it was assembled.

It sounds about right though it's very hard to tell on video. There is a slight scrapping noise but that might just be me. If the room does not have a lot of fabrics in it (Eg. curtains, carpet, etc.) it will amplify the noise. If the surface is just a table or desk then this can act like an amplifier which is why some people put a paving slab and matting under theirs.
