I got the first print layer blues

So, I've been trying to print all day on my Prusa issue textured print bed but nothing is stopping that first layer from separating from the print bed and turning into a big gummy mess. I've tried isopropyl alcohol, I've tried washing it with dish soap and a sponge, I've calibrated, and I've even adjusted the Z-Axis so the nozzle isn't right on the plate. If anyone has any other ideas I would very much like to know them.

So here is what I try to print, and here is what it ends up looking like. I even tried to put glue on the build plate but it just all turns into goop.

I notice that there is no part cooling duct in your photos.

What material are you printing with? I had very little success printing PLA with the textured print sheet, however PETG works fine. I did have to really scrub the sheet with warm water and dish soap though, perhaps give it another rinse? The live Z also took me a while to get dialed in, and even though the calibration on the printer looked good, when printing a large parts elsewhere on the bed it wasn't and I had to go lower. Also enable 7x7 mesh bed levelling if you have not done so already.

The spaghetti around the nozzle is quite typical as the Z level is not properly calibrated.
The filament string is then not smeared on the bed but instead rolls up behind the nozzle.

Attempted calibration of the Z axis this morning...goop on nozzle. Got rid of goop, then tried calibration of Z again. The calibration went through fine, but still nothing is sticking. Even with the glue. Even with multiple cleanings. I can only speculate that the pad is too old.

They shoot printer pads, don't they?

As @cynan notes, there is a LOT of variability with the textured beds, particularly with PLA. I gave up on my textured bed completely, while others reserve it for PETG and other sticky materials. I'd suggest going with a smooth PEI sheet, or one of the clone textured sheets for printing PLA.
