Ghosting in front and back

Newly assembled Prusa MKS3+, printed with AddNorth Economy PETG and the "0.20mm QUALITY"-setting. I've increased the brightness of the images to enhance the situation.

The sides look okay but the front and back have a lot of ghosting/ringing. I have 2 Creality printers since before and I solved ghosting with config in Klipper. Not sure of what I did wrong during assembly and how I should solve this. Anyone have any tips?

As the ghosting is on the X axis that would be the one to check.  Everything Dan suggested is applicable but just to the X instead of Y.

Start with Y rod motion smoothness

Couple of candidate issues

1.  Y belt tightness is off.  Print out the belt tension gauge (print library) - be sure to use only prusament petg or it won't read correctly.  Adjust to the center of the sweet spot.

2.  Y bearings were not lubricated when printer was assembled.  Unassemble heat bead, remove rods, pack bearings with the grease tool that came with your printer, re-assemble then repeat step 1  belt tightness.

3.  Possibly, the metal clips that hold the linear bearings are over-tightned.  Too much pressure on the linear bearings can cause print artifacts or calibration issues.  Loosen so the bearings are snugly held and do not wiggle in their sockets, no tighter.

Thanks for all suggestions! It helped to tighten the belt and also tighten the bed screws 🙂
