Front Panel Button Problem

I have assembled my printer and for the last couple of days have been happily making some great models.  This morning I started having problems with the button under the front panel potentiometer.  I it quite 'unreliable' and I have to press it several times to make it respond.  Until this morning it has been absolutely fine.  Any ideas on how to solve this?

Thank you,

Philip

The button with the big X on it is the Emergency Abort button. I never use it unless a print is going horribly wrong.

That said - chat with Support. Click on EShop above, log in to the store, then the Chat button is in lower right.

They can step you through it.

I am talking about the button that activates a menu selection once it has been selected with the rotary 'dial'.  The rotary bit is working fine but the but pressing it does nothing.

The X is simple reset - I'm not even sure it does anything unless you are mid print.

Sorry - I did not make myself clear.  I am not talking about the abort button.  I am referring to the button that is pressed to activate a menu selection - ie rotate the dial and press to activate the selected menu item.

the X button is the same as power cycling the printer

That might be the intended function but my experience is different: it is not quite like a power cycle or hard reset.

RE: Front Panel Button Problem

OK - we are all talking about the wrong button. OP meant the one that is part of the rotary knob.

Contact Support. They may want to replace your display board.
