First layer calibration goes wrong
For some reasons, my first calibration layer looks like this. Everything is fine and sticks nicely to the bed until the rectangle shape which creates a glob.
Thanks
The combination of shadows a slightly out of focus image makes it hard to be certain but it looks like there are smudges on the print sheet - that won't help so:
Clean the sheet with dishwashing detergent (Dawn/Fairy) and plenty of HOT water, rinse well and dry with a fresh paper towel. Handle by the edges only.
This might be enough but if not take the Z offset down until it is definitely too low and then back off in baby steps until it is OK.
At the end of the calibration you are aiming to print a single layer postage stamp sized *sheet*. It should be possible to peel it off in one and fold it without the threads seperating. If it breaks into lines it is too high, not squished enough. If it is a single sheet but with wavy lines or drag marks on it you are too low.
Cheerio,
