Filling Cracks

My printer just finished a model of 'Winged Victory" (also known as Victory at Samothrace) and besides problems removing all of the supports, my major concern is a crack between the top winged half and the bottom half with the pedestal. What are users using to fill cracks on models?

I will of course sand the whole model to reduce the evidence of PLA filament but the crack when I glue the two pieces together will clearly show. The filament is ivory so whatever I use to hide the crack will have to be color matched.

I was thinking of something like "spackle"; is there a plastic version that would harden but not shrink.

Suggestions?

Re: Filling Cracks

Automotive body filler is often used for this, that should meet your needs.

post printing processing is a vast subject and there are whole websites dedicated to it as well as youTube channels

you don't need to fully sand away every trace of the layer lines, use a high build or regular spray on plastic primer as folks that make plastic model kits use as their first step after light sanding I tend to use this primer for everything I paint

modelers tend to use this
Tamiya TAM87042 87042 Surface Primer L Gray, 180ml Spray Can, Light Gray
