Filament Runout Detection Issue

Hi everybody!

I have the MK3S+ for some weeks... I did an 8-hours print last night, knowing that I hadn't enough PLA in the roll. I expected the printer to stop, in order to load the filament of another roll. However, it finished printing the part, even without filament!

I checked the connection of the filament sensor, being at the bottom row of the pins. Also being with the right orientation (red at right side).

Any other suggestion for checking what is happening?

Thanks in advance!

Have you checked your settings on the printer to see if the sensor is turned on?

Filament Sensor: activated

Filament autoload: deactivated

Hi, problem solved...

Finally I disassembled the filament sensor, cleaned that area and now is working properly (I double checked through the LCD menu).

Thanks anyway!
