failing support on first major print after assembly

Hi

I recently assembled my printer and after troubleshooting some assembly issues I made my first major print that took 1 day to complete.

I created the G-code using Prusa control for Colorfabb xT at .2 mm layer height with support everywhere option.

the support was printed very poorly; here was the major issue; It zigzagged along the print length and didn't do a great job at holding the sections it was supposed to carry; those sections either lifted up due to their first layer not printing correctly into the support. check below images to better understand what I mean.

I appreciate any help; I'm contacting support but they are extremely slow to respond.

Is this your very first print?
How about starting with small parts first, where you can have more detailed information about what is the printer doing at each stage?
A 24h print is a high risk enterprice if you don't have your printer under control. I recommend to investigate the printer running much smaller parts. For example printing the calibration surface.
Good luck!

I actually printed the first layer calibration square and tweaked height until it was ok. my first print was the Prusa buddy and I did some tweaks until it I was coming out nice. one problem I had to solve is that X-axis belt was rubbing with the sides and I solved that by adjusting the pulley on X motor. Maybe I should run calibration test to check for X-belt tension?
