Disassembling extruder body after sensor-problem
I assembled my brandnew mk3s+ and started my first printing and the results were fine. Nevertheless I had some problems with the filament-sensor (status unknown) so I decided to disassemble the extruder to get to the filament sensor mechanism (following the troubleshooting in the knowledge base).
During the disassembling I had to "Unscrew both long M3x40 screws located below the Extruder motor and take the Extruder cover off". The right-hand screw was very difficult to loosen. Although I was careful, I could only loosen the right screw a few millimetres and now it turns freely. It looks like the nut on the back of the extruder housing is also turning.
I can now neither loosen the housing completely nor reassemble it.
Does anyone have a solution to this?
If you can push a narrow point, even a needle, in next to the nut you should be able to hold it in place for a couple of turns.
Cheerio,
