Brim won't stick?

Brim won't stick? I was able to get very nice first layer calibration but when I tried to print a calibration cube (from Thingiverse) the brim didn't stick, although the cube came out lovely.  Is this normal?  I used the grey Prusament that came with my I3 Mk3S+ kit.

Pictures would help.  I'd have to guess your first layer was too high, or the bed is not clean, or both.  Calibration is just a first step - it doesn't mean you are dialed in.  Look up Live-Z adjustments - there are lots and lots of posts on that subject.  Calibration is just a step in getting ready to print - it will get you close to being ready to do a Live-Z adjustment.  You will have to adjust live-Z very often.  When you change filament brands.  When you change filament material type.  Sometimes even when you change color within the same brand.

Thanks Dan - I cleaned the smooth sheet with 90% alcohol and the brim is now sticking.

@dan-cooper

generally with the smooth sheet some dawn platinum and a good scrub is all you need to get rid of fingerprints.  the 90+% IPA is really meant for the textured sheet I think.
