bed temperature regulation problems

I got my MK3s put together and selftest said everything was peachy, first print was beautiful. second print failed due to a 'thermal runaway event' when I found in the morning, though after hitting the x button on the LCD panel it logged it as a blackout in the fail stats. then the bed and nozzle wouldn't heat up, even after a power cycle, until I actually pulled the plug out of the psu. and now the nozzle heats up fine, but the bed not only wont stop heating up, it turns on and starts heating up from the second I turn the power on (bed temp still set to 0) and its not giving me any kind of error code. also there's a problem with the psu power cord cover being loose and not holding the plug firmly, I already filled out a customer service slip for this though I don't know if the printer losing power during my first run of the selftest could have affected anything, but when I ran it again it said everything was alright.

I found out how to do a factory reset, didn't change anything, and I flashed the firmware with the latest version, still nothing. does anyone know how I can find out if its a problem with the ensy board or if its the bed itself?

Chat with support on the eshop page. assuming your wiring is correct, you may have a faulty einsy
