Adhesion issues

Hi,

I'm really struggling to get adhesion to the bed with the first layer. I've tried all different Z values ranging from 0 to -0.317 and various speeds from 30 to 100. Every time I'm getting a failure either part of the model lifting after a few layers have been put down or even the first layer moving.

So far spent over 10 hours on this and getting really frustrated.

I'm cleaning the bed with IPA but not sure what % is.

Please help before I give up on this!

Re: Adhesion issues

I'm really new to this so probably of not much help.

But in order for people that knows what they're doing can help you, I think it would be better if you provide some more data like what material are you using?, temps on the nozzle and the bed? and maybe some pictures of the problem 😉

Even though we all have different live-z heights i would almost dare to say that yours is a bit high still.
Attache a picture of your first layer.

Re: Adhesion issues

Try to remove the steel plate and wash it with dish soap under warm water. Afterwards do not touch the surface with your hands. This helped me a lot to get my prints to stick.
