3d printing not working

Good morning everyone,

I had a prusa mk3s, I was no completly happy with the quality but mostly because I didn't take the time to do a lot of hours of tuning on it.

Recently I tried to restart the process of using my prusa, and the first layer sticks to base as expected, but after a couple of rows, the thing goes in mess...

my result 🙁

Have you an idea of the problem ?

Results are similar with other material (PLA, ABS)

I tried to heat more by a couple of °, no better result.

I cleaned the basis (burn alcool) and even try with the glue stick but nothing seems to work ...

Many thanks for your help

No matter how long one waits, learning to get the first layer down right is still the first lesson to master.  Search this site (with google) for the thousands of how-to on first layer calibration - and then on adjusting Live Z.

Dan is 100% correct, Its not an easy thing to get right, and the most important step. If the first layer is not right you are wasting your time, and filament continuing to print.

Try https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-mk3-assembly-and-first-prints-troubleshooting/life-adjust-z-my-way/

This article consistently helps most get a grip on first layer adjust, look on page 40 as well for Joans photos of what to look for.....very helpful.

Dont rush it, took me a whole day to get it in the ballpark, then a few more tweaks, and a few more still.

Its a constant steep learning curve.

You did not clean the bed. You did contaminate it. Burn alcohol/methylated spirit is denatured. It leaves residues that will reduce adhesion.

Your bed will need a deep clean with dish soap and a sponge. For intermediate cleaning, you should only use 90% IPA.
You can find more advice on bed cleaning here in the forum.
