Positioning print correctly

I'm using Prusa Slicer 2.5.2 on a MK3S printer.  To avoid stress delaminations, we have to print this at an unusual angle (supports all over the place, so what?).  To achieve this angle, I put a flat spot on the radius so when I got it into Slicer I would have a flat reference point to use.  However, when I selected the option to select what surface to put on the build platform, my flat spot was not one of the options.  Does it require a certain minimum size to be recognized?  I hand-edited the screen shot to mark it in red; it is about 1/8" wide.

It used to be that curved surfaces had lots of points around the edge to select; but this time, nothing appeared other than a couple wide areas.  So I went in, and added a reference base flat spot to use to touch the build surface.
