Wildly fluctuating temperatures?

I have had a lot of issues with my printer and now the latest problem to arise is that when the printer is printing, the temperatures it reports are fluctuating wildly. No, not the usual fluctuation, it's reporting totally incorrect temperatures, like e.g. one second is shows 179C, literally the next second 209C, then again the next second 189C -- totally not possible for it to fluctuate by tens of degrees within seconds!

Anyone got an idea what's going on? Bad thermistor?

I'm not sure if that's applicable. I'm not getting thermal runaway-error, like I said, the temperature fluctuates tens of degrees literally in a second. The printer is happy to keep printing because the temperature is never stable even for 5 seconds, let alone 45 seconds.

Re: Wildly fluctuating temperatures?

Question: Do you get temperature variations such as this:

(picture from the linked help document)

Because that seems to be what you were describing.

Hi there I am experiencing the same thing as you . I have done a self test and all ok I have no thermal runaway errors either the funny thing is when printing the print looks fine . The temperature fluctuates from 205 - 187 rapidly jumps on screen . Normal very stable at 205.?
