I would like to print out a black/white chessboard. What are you most looking to print? How much do you think it will cost to upgrade?

Added use of soluble supports to allow for some more complex prints. There has been a few times some soluble support could have save some serious clean ups.

Lets just hope its revealed

The only real advantage that I see of dual printing is water soluble support.

I spent a lot of time and money converting my previous i3 to dual extrusion and all that I really managed was slightly lower quality prints (heavier hot end, slight ghosts where the unused nozzle moves over the print of the active nozzle). The amount of times I wanted to print multiple colors were very few and far between.

What I wonder about is how a single nozzle would cope with different materials that require different temperatures..

The reasons I bought the CCFP and used it for:

-Fused flex to rigid
-Soluble supports
-Conductive and non conductive mix for RF shielded cases
-Clear / non clear mix , led shine trough
-0.2 and 0.4mm (mixed result with this one) for optical path

I know I am going to toward the diamond head and bowden setup. But separate nozzles is where the need is for me.

I am looking forward to multi color flat designs mostly. Right now I am attempting to print in multiple colors via the ColorPrint and for that, you need to use different heights. That's good but not good enough. I have a few things I want to print with multiple colors on the same layer. 😯

Soluble supports in PVA?

But tchiwam has posted some great ideas!
