Vibration dampening motor gasket?

Hi everyone,

My MK2 is noisier than I'd like, and a lot of that seems to come from motor vibrations (rather than the rods). I was wondering if anyone had had success using dampening gaskets such as these:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Funssor-1pcs-NEMA-17-Stepper-Motor-Anti-Vibration-PTFE-damper-Vibration-Damper-Shock-Absorber-for-CNC/32815722890.html

- Do they make much of a difference?
- Is PTFE a good material for this purpose?
- Any gotchas in installing them? I can imagine I'll get to get some longer screws, but apart from that is there anything i should be aware of?

Thanks,
Sam

I suggest using the forum search function.
