Trying to print 5-link chain - stringing and knockover problem
I just built and calibrated my MK2S printer. All of that went smoothly. Also printed the PRUSA test and that worked just fine.
I'm now trying to print a 5-link chain as a test. I've found this to be a good test of printers.
I'm having two problems. First, there seems to be a lot of stringing as the printhead moves between sections of the chain. I can deal with that, but I don't have that problem on my old i3 printer.
The more important problem is that as the print progresses, the printhead strikes and knocks out one or more sections.
I have adjusted the first layer using Live-Z adjustment so that the first layer is firmly attached (at least reasonably, I'm not trying to get a completely squashed first layer).
I'm using the standard settings from Slic3r Prusa Edition for PLA when slicing.
Attached are 2 pictures to show my problem.
Any ideas?

You need to squash that first layer more. Please read this post
especially step 6. Getting that first layer is critical. From your photo, I can see you don't have your Live Z down low enough.
If you need help, printing the calibration square from step 6, and post a photo, and we can help.
