Hi,

I'm printing http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1892617

I'm still pretty new to this.

I was wondering what could be done to avoid the squished bottom layers on the attached picture

thanks

Re: tower

Reduce bed temperature and/or increase part cooling fan speed ? Hot end temp reduction may be necessary too.

Re: tower

the most bottom layers seems decent (and are on the other printed parts that dont have a cone shape to them. My bed is at 55.

My filament is specced between 190 and 230 and I'm running it at 215. I'll try and reduce it to 195-200 see if that improves.

as for the fan, I'm using slic3r prusa default settings which should leave the fan between 85% and 100% at all times ..

I'll test changes one by one see which one makes the most improvement.

thanks

Simon
