Temperature Readings

Hi,

I own a Prusa i3 mk2s (Kit) for some weeks now and i am very happy with the print results.

Nevertheless I have a issue with the temperature readings.

Both the hotend and the heatbed reporting similar temperature values.

These values can't be true.

Even after some hours turned off, the temperature readings show about 30°C. In my oppinion this readings are very unlikely as my room thermometer reports 22°C.

It is unlikely a hardware problem as both sensors are reporting similar values.

Do I need to calibrate the temperatures in any way?

Is this (big) drift common with low temperatures and does not occur with higher temperatures?

Thank you.

Ronny

Re: Temperature Readings

Don't worry about that.

The readings at low temperature are not so accurate, ignore it.

Re: Temperature Readings

Why? can't they go to -50c? their R25 is 100K. (100k ohm at 25c ). mine are usually 1-3 degrees within range.
