Support layers not adhereing
I have had my Prusa i3 mk2s for about a week now and have had no issues with models that require no support. However I'm attempting to print a sizable 4-5" piece that needs a fair amount of support material. The ends of the support always curl on the first layer and mess up the entire print. I have cleaned the bed thoroughly, tried lowering Z more, used glue on before printing, and have used both prusa control and Slic3r with no luck. In addition to this when my printer does its 9 calibration points it leaves residue and a thin filament tail going to each point. Its easily taken off but its obnoxious to have to do and the one in the middle could affect my print. Not sure how to fix either issues, but I did attach a photo of the failed support material.

read this thread, at least the first 5 - 7 sites and use the calibration surface at page#4.
if you need to know what might go wrong, or which other issues may lead to the problem... take your time and read the whole thread, there are plenty of things mentioned there as well (like e-steps calibration, surface maintenance etc.).

As far as the filament leaking and sticking to the bed during the 9 point calibration.
Some people use custum start gcode to prevent this. Personally, I just put a piece of paper on the bed while the printer is doing its 9 point calibration and remove it after it reaches the 9th point and is moving to make the inro/prime line. I leave this sheet of paper next to my printer and reuse it several times. (I have an old half full box of tractor feed paper I'm using for this purpose)

I completed this but unfortunately it didn't help for the support layers adhering. For some reason it only happens on the layers where there is support material. Any other recommendations? A different slicer maybe? It seems to go much faster on support layers so maybe its that?

so it's probably related to one of the settings regarding the support.
don't know very much about slic3r (bought S3D).
which slic3r version do you use ? and what are your settings inside the "Support material" and the "Advanced" tab (when support is enabled) ?

Have you tried enabling the "With sheath around the" option on the support material?

I attached the photos of the support and speeds I'm using, most of it should be default. I'm using the prusa edition slic3r.

Have you tried enabling the "With sheath around the" option on the support material?
I have not, I will give that a try.
