Simplify3D no part cooling fan
Hi,
Regardless of what setpoint I use or settings I tic/untick in the cooling tab of Simplify3d I can't get the fan to come on at the specified layer. It will not come on regardless of anything I do. It works perfectly for one of my other 3D printers but not on the Mk2.
The fan works properly if I use Slic3r... just not simplify3D.
I can manually turn it on from the control panel tune menu but thats just a workaround.
Does anybody have the same issue please?

Can you please zip up and upload a GCode file of a small model where this occurs.
Thanks

You are using the wrong flavour of Marlin to generate GCode for the Prusa. (Looks like you are possibly using Makerbot)
The wrong command (M126) is being used for fan control - it should be M106 ( http://reprap.org/wiki/G-code#M106:_Fan_On )

Re: Simplify3D no part cooling fan
I have actually tried that as well.
The file I uploaded was from a FFF file somebody else sent me to try and solve my problem.
I've tried with 106, 126 and no commands at all built into the starting script.
Re: Simplify3D no part cooling fan
OK I've just spotted, I have 2 printers one with Sailfish and the MK2. Seems even if I switch to recognised Marlin settings then it somehow reverts to Makerbot\Sailfish when generating gcode.
I will delete all of the Sailfish profiles and try again.
