Nozzle wear

Below are pictures of my Nozzle.
This is the wear for using it less than one year, modestest used. Counter says 490 meters.
I print 98% PETg, small amount of PLA and ABS.

I use a brass brush to clean, maybe this isn't so good.
Have now swapped to a hardened nozzle.

Yep a brass brush even a fine bristle version will damage a brass nozzle.

You can see by the profile on the end of the nozzle that most if not all the wear has been caused by external factors I.E. the brass brush.

I would expect you to see a drastic Improvement in print quality with the new nozzle. The old nozzle is a mess.

Yes, was seeing over extrusion all of sudden, nozzle dragging on last layer and so. Now its perfect again.
