Nozzle Clogging
Hi!
I've printed 24/7 for a few weeks now without any issues. I was about to change unload the filament to fix some chaos on my Filament Spool, but what I was about to load the filament it seems like something has happened. The nozzle is heated, I've tried 210-250 degrees, but there is something stopping the filament in the hot end. The filament doesn't reach the nozzle, since its not melted at all when I unload after trying to load it. Maybe the teflon tubing has melted or something like that?
Anyhow, whats the best way to remove the hole hotend? I want to take it apart completely I guess. (remove nozzle from heatblock and the heatsink as well. I need to remove the fans and the motor right?
Best Regards Patrik

Re: Nozzle Clogging
Patrick,
It may not be necessary to open everything up. Can yoy see if the methods in http://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk2-f23/my-method-of-clearing-the-filament-stuck-in-heat-b-t1148.html#p8657 work for you ?

Re: Nozzle Clogging
Great "guide", that helped! Although I needed to raise the nozzle temp to 240 before my heatsink started to get warm enough 🙂

Re: Nozzle Clogging
In addition, you can consult this very interesting thread: http://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk2-f23/extruder-completely-stuck-heat-didn-t-fix-it-t1117.html
To avoid this issue that I just had as well, gz1 advise to use a lower temperature (~170 °C) to unload filament, and I'm now following this advice.
I'm like Jon Snow, I know nothing.
Re: Nozzle Clogging
I think I had to much retraction as well, that might have caused it
