Layer height

What are the allowed and recommended layer heights for a stock MK2?

Josef has 0.05mm, 0.10mm, 0.20mm and 0.35mm in the Slic3r profile. Now I'd like to print stuff with a 0.50mm layer height. Is that possible and is it recommended?

Anything is possible... If it works for you then great.

There is a general recommendation that the layer height should be at most 80% of the nozzle diameter, but going more than the 80% will probably only result in poor print quality.

Re: Layer height

Change nozzle size, I use a .8mm nozzle with a .64 line width. If you change to a .6mm Nozzle you can get what you want.
