How do I avoid this pattern?

This is the first layer of a print. It started printing from the top-left corner, where everything looks just fine. But then, as we get to the middle, the print becomes "wavy".

Any ideas what might cause this? And what I can do to prevent it?

Perhaps your bed isn't uniformly level.

Have you tried different z adjustments? I would back off a little on the z level and try it again.

The front right of the heat bed seems lower than the rest of the bed. The auto calibration hopefully should correct, if not check that the bed is connected to the Y structure securely. The wavy print is because the nozzle is too far from the bed. Have you tried the active Z adjustment while printing?

To me it looks like you are to close to the bed, it can be hard to tell from a picture though.

Have look at this thread, it helps a lot to get the first layer just perfect.
