Hoping for some help with my prints. (Long sorry)

Hi guys,

I've had my printer for a little while and I'm starting to feel like getting a good finished print is dumb luck.

Here is a list of issues I've tried to tackle:

- bed adhesion
- warping
- stringing

Today I reset everything. Grabbed a new FFF file from here for S3D, redid all the calibration steps and readjusted Live-Z.

I'm going to share some pics of my top and bottom layer calibration cube, a failed small print and a lattice cube I tried to print.

Here are some stats:

AMZ3D PLA 1.75mm
first layer temp 200
second layer temp 195
rest of print temp 190
bed temp 55
default print speed is 45mm/s
first layer height 110%
first layer speed 30%
Extrusion Multiplier 0.98
Extrusion width 0.38
retraction 1mm at 50mm/s
coast 0.20mm
layer height .2

Any input at all would be very very appreciated.

A few things I notice:

1) Based on your bottom layer, you do not have your Live-Z set correctly. See the "Life Adjust Z - my way" thread, and read till you get to the V4 version of his code. The first layer is key. Other hints here:
http://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/prusa-i3-kit-building-calibrating-first-print-main-f6/-before-you-ask-troubleshooting-video-updated--t472.html#p39190
The lack of adhesion, curling, and failed small prints are all Live-Z related.

2) Those temperatures seem low for PLA. You might want to bump them both up just a bit. Try 5 degs each. And see if you have any improvement.

3) To issolate machin issues and slicer issues, it is worth printing a few things from the included SD card. If they print fine, and things you slice don't, it is a slicer problem. If they print poorly, then it is a hardware issue.

Any advices given are offered in good faith. It is your responsibility to ensure that by following my advice you do not suffer or cause injury, damage or loss. If you solve your problem, please post the solution…
