Print speed and acceleration go hand-in hand. You can print small models at "high speed" but the acceleration factor will not allow the printer to reach the specified speeds.

Having said that, I have printed (with the Mk1 with V6) 0.2mm large models at 180mm/sec with significantly increased acceleration settings without issue, but I think that is approaching the printer's limits.

My acceleration settings for fast printing:

M201 X1500 Y1500 E900

Thanks for the info.

Not meaning to appear stupid but I'm not confident what that GCode means or where I would use it. 😳

I've only ever tweaked Slicer in the 'Speed for print moves' in the 'Speed' menu in slicer.

Would you be able to advise what the max usable values would be for the Mk 2 using PETG?

Sorry, I can't advise you regarding Slic3r as I have never used it, although I am aware that you insert the acceleration settings in the program which then generates GCode according to those settings.
