Glass over PEI

Hello, please do not try to praise PEI sheet in first 🙂

I have tried to print an ipad case and those two screws in the middle of the heated bed had created to swells on the back of the case.

I am just asking if it is possible to give 2.5mm ofset to the probe in order to print on glass? There is a method to add a script in the slicer to the top of the gcode and make the extruder pause for a minute after bed leveling. Then you put on the glass.

But I do not want to add script and add remove the glass every initial print.

Many thanks for your help.

Type of probe used on MK2 will not trigger at that heights. You would have to use different type, probably one of 12mm probes. I don't know any 8mm probe capable of trigger height above 2mm.

Yes I know you have to program in the pause, but in case you have not seen it.
