First Layer Advice

Relatively new to 3D printing, I haven't been able to print the last few months but just got back into it. Went through calibration and am having some issues. I included a picture of a first layer done recently, where should I be looking to correct.

You should run the Live-Z-height calibration either from your SD-Card or directly from the display if you already have installed the newest Firmware 3.0.1.
I take it to be PLA as it looks. Given the Z is adjusted corectly this stuff absolutely has to stick like hell.
Best use a scotch brite kitchen sponge for thorough mechanical cleaning.
After that I use a old window cleaner spray-bottle with a really tiny amount of dish soap or some other universal cleaner.
Not sure, but outline overlap in the solid-infill settings could be somewhat bigger...

Make sure that your bed is clean. I wipe it with ethanol before almost every print.
