Filament not attaching properly to surface
Hi everyone,
I bought a mk2 in late August and I've been doing quite a lot of prints since then. They were more or less perfect. Then I started having problems with adhesion of the first layer. It doesn't stick to the surface and even if in some cases it does, the print detaches from the bed. I tried everything: I recalibrated the printer several times, I tried to print with some glue on the surface and I also tried not to print in the center of the bed, that seemed less sticky than the rest of the plate. I also tried to use different primt temperatures. The results vary from this (see attached photo) to a completely detached model. Please help me!

Sorry I didn't attach the photo. Here it is. As I said in the first post, I tried to off-center the print because I noticed that the central part of the bed was less sticky than the rest.
When I said I tried everything I meant that I searched on google a similar problem but nothing of what I got solved my problem. In the previous post I mentioned some of the things I've tried to do. This started 3 weeks ago with some first layers that look similar to the photo, but then the situation just got worse... The piece in the photo was the best result I got yesterday...

First thing I see is I think the nozzle is to far from the bed. I think you need to lower it a little at a time and see how that goes.

This is what came out now... I manually adjusted the z-axis level at -0.780 mm. Before it was at circa -0.700.

Better.
Next thing is you are really getting to the upper limit on of where you want the Z to be which is -1.
I would adjust the PINDA up a little bit and run the V2 calibration again. Adjust in small bits to make sure you don't hit the bed with the nozzle!!
Ideally you would like to be in the range of -.1 to -.4.

sorry for replying so late, I hadn't much time for the printer these days...
I did what you said, now the Z compensation is about -0.450. Do you think it's enough?
meanwhile, I realized that the strings between the parts were caused by the temperature of the hot end, that was too high for my filament (i bought it from bq). Now it's set to 195° and it works really well. The only thing that is still not working is the bed adhesion: the print starts to warp a few layers after it started and then it detaches from the bed...

What are you using to clean your bed with between prints?
You should use IPA 95% or more if possible, to clean the bed.

I'm using window cleaner. I heard about IPA to clean the bed, but i don't know where to buy it from.

Forget about window cleaner. I also had big issues with my adhesion while using it. I assume the composition of window cleaner varies greatly between different countries depending on local regulations. Seems they put dragons blood or something in there in the Czech Republic ;). I switched to IPA and all my issues were gone... You should be able to get IPA online . Depending on where you´re from... I got mine through Amazon as it was the cheapest options. Big hardware stores might have it or you should be able to get or at least order it at a pharmacy.

I bought three different window cleaners here and they all was full of junk and oil, useless.

I am using the alcohol wipes. Work nicely and are in one use packets. I get them at the pharmacy.

Thank you! I'll buy that from Amazon then (it cost about 10€ for 1 liter). I'll let you know as soon as it arrives!

To be honest, window cleaner didn't work at all for me. The only thing that worked really really well was 90% alcohol. Even with glue it didn't work as well as a GOOD clean with alcohol and paper towel.
