Failed print, then printer will not calibrate

All,

I am having issues with my printer, currently it is a paperweight since it will not calibrate.

Background: Bought the MK2 kit, received in mid Jan 17. Put the kit together, no problems and prints beautifully. Was very impressed with the quality of the prints and the different materials it will print with. Last month I set up a print that needed lots of supports and was to take 8 hrs to print. First few layers were great, so I left the house. Came back and found that the printer has swiveled about 45 degrees counter clock-wise and there was a birds nest of filament with the extruder still going through its code and extruding with nothing on the bed. I found the part and it appears that some supports fell over and the printer was printing without supports which caused it to curl up and a piece of the print was bent upward. I am assuming that the pinda or extruder hit the curled up part and knocked it off the bed and swiveled the printer. I cleaned everything up and tried to print it again. While it was running through the 9 point calibration before the print, the first three points were good then for the second row, the extruder didn't stop and pushed into and deflected the bed. I turned off the machine at that point. I turned it back on and ran the x,y,z calibration and the pinda found the first point in the front middle, moved to the middle row, far right side and couldn't find the point. The extruder started to dig into the bed, so I stopped the machine. Also, I forgot to add that during the home function, the pinda is almost centered on the first circle. I have also moved the pinda down to approx. 0.5 mm higher than nozzle. Same results.

I had ordered the MK2S upgrade and had already printed the parts out before this happened, so once it arrived, I thought I would upgrade the printer and install the most current firmware. install of parts and software went great. Made sure everything was square and started to calibrate. Same thing as before.
I then contacted support and they thought it was a bad pinda. installed the new pinda yesterday and same issues. Support has no idea what it is.

I have a video of the xyz cal where it can't find the spot on the bed and some pictures of where the extruder was digging into the bed. Please let me know if you would like to see that. I also attached a couple of pics that show what I explaining above. Thanks for your help!
