checking which direction it is skewed can be done pretty quick:
switch of the printer
bring down the Z axis but make sure you are not touching the Bed with the nozzle
Now look from the top and align one of the lines on the bed close to the X Axis rods.
I was surprised myself how accurate you can see if there is a slight angle between the rods and the line.
Carefully adjust the Z Frame that the X Axis rods are exactly parallel to the lines on the bed and do calibration after.
